We found this kitten after seeing an old shop owner toss him out of his store directly onto the pavement. He was filthy, smelled terrible, and weighed barely half a kilogram. He was completely limp and could not even stand up on his own. We picked him up right away and gave him the serum and medicine he needed.
Despite our efforts, he was simply too small and weak to pull through, and he died. This loss is entirely on humans. People treat vulnerable animals like garbage they can just discard on the curb when they do not want them around. It comes down to a total lack of empathy and basic decency. An animal is a living creature, not trash. If you do not want an animal near your shop or home, do not throw them onto the pavement to suffer and die—have some basic decency and find someone who will take care of them.
