We discovered Madeling collapsed in a narrow alleyway, exhausted and in severe labor distress. One of her kittens was wedged sideways in the birth canal, leaving her unable to deliver naturally for several grueling hours.
We rushed her directly into surgery for an emergency C-section to clear the obstruction and stabilize her condition. While her kittens unfortunately did not survive the prolonged labor, Madeling pulled through surgery. Over the following 30 days of intensive veterinary care, antibiotics, and rest, she made a complete, healthy recovery.
